Health and safety and environmental policy 2011
Solid Vedlikehold AS has its values for the future. Our values are the heart of our management system and motivate us to effort and performance. Through our values, we are committed in words and actions:
- We work constantly to prevent incidents that might cause injury to personnel or damage to materials, the environment and our reputation.
- We are concerned about our employees' health and their working environment.
- We perform our activities with efficiency and with as little damage to the environment as possible.
- We perform services that are gentle to the environment and that are effective in terms of the consumption of energy and natural resources.
- We are concerned about recycling and strive to create as little special waste as possible.
- We work towards fulfilling our zero philosophy.
In order to live up to this, we have expectations of the entire organisation:
- All employees shall take personal responsibility for their own and others' safety. Be conscious of your own behaviour.
- Work shall progress in a systematic and quantifiable manner so that we can strive at all times to improve our health and safety culture and peformance.
- We shall aim at clear and positive communication about health and safety and environmental issues and performance, so as to develop learning both internally and externally.
- The HSE management system shall be implemented and complied with at all levels of the organisation.
